Habitat: Northern Hardwood Forest, Sedge Meadow, Successional Oldfield, Open Water.
Best Birds: Sandhill Crane, Willow Flycatcher, Yellow-throated Vireo, Sedge Wren, Field and Swamp Sparrow, and Scarlet Tanager. The trails north of the nature center are good for warblers and other migrants during Spring and Fall Migration.
Directions: 30 miles WNW of Green Bay/14 miles south of Shawano. From McDonald Road go north 1/2 mile to Lindsten Road. Turn east on Lindsten Road 1 1/4 miles to the road leading to the nature center. There are numerous hiking trails radiating from the nature center. Several of these trails near the nature center are handicapped accessible.
