Join us at the Cox Nature Center on WSO's Honey Creek Preserve for an 8:30 a.m. start to a birding hike around our property in the Baraboo Hills State Natural Area. The entire loop will be about 2.5 miles, with some up and down terrain and stream crossings along the way.  We plan to return to the nature center sometime between 11:00 and noon. You are welcome to bring family, friends and neighbors for free at this event. Please register them with waivers if possible.

 

Other events include a campout on Saturday night, dawn chorus at 3:45 am on Skyview Road, birding before the field trip, and bird banding activities on Sunday morning with Dr. Anna Pidgeon and her students from UW-Madison.
