Your name can be in the new Haunts
Daryl Tessen and birders throughout the state have begun working diligently on the fifth edition of Wisconsin’s Favorite Bird Haunts, which is expected to be available late in 2009 or early in 2010. Even if you won’t be contributing information on where to find birds in the state, you can still contribute to the success of this publication. Since the book is published by WSO, the organization pays all costs of preparing the manuscript and artwork, as well as printing and binding the book. If you would like to help offset some of the expenses, please consider making a cash donation to WSO earmarked for support of the 5th edition of Haunts. Donations of any amount will be accepted gladly; however, if you donate $50 or more to the fund, you will be listed in the book as a donor.
You may include your donation when you send your membership renewal to WSO Membership Chair Jesse Peterson, or you may mail it directly to WSO Treasurer Christine Reel (2022 Sherryl Lane, Waukesha, WI 53188). Please be sure to note that the donation is for Haunts and indicate how you would like your name(s) to appear in the book. Deadline for inclusion in the book: September 1.
